Olive and Paddy O'Gorman welcome guests to their commodious farmhouse set in its own gardens nestled in the pretty Nire Valley, an area of Ireland off the beaten tourist path and noted for its beautiful scenery. Knowing that you deserve the best, Olive takes great pride in looking after her guests, chatting with them over tea and cake when they arrive, feeding them copious breakfasts, packing tempting lunches, arranging for them to go walking and feeding them dinner in the conservatory on their return. Guests come to this quiet corner of County Waterford to walk the Comeragh Mountains and experience Irish farmhouse hospitality. If the outdoor pursuits of fishing, pony-trekking, and walking are not your cup of tea, you can drive to Lismore, Dungarvan, or over The Vee, returning in time for a visit to one of the nearby pubs for a late-night Irish music session. The food is gorgeous with its farmhouse simplicity, and you'll get a really good breakfast to set you up for the day. This is a lovely place to stay, and a perfect antidote to the stresses of urban life
